The Teacher,under the direct supervision of Home Manager, is responsible for teaching the children according to the Nepali curriculum, supporting their intellectual understanding of formal and informal education and enabling them to achieve decent position in their respective class.
The teacher should follow the basic codes of conduct of teaching profession along with the following guidelines;
Educational need Assessment of the children of various classes.
Teaching according to the educational needs, abilities and achievement of the individual student and groups of students.
Organizing the classroom and learning resources creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
Designing and preparing the lesson plan and extracurricular activities in daily basis before entering the class and providing daily lessons to the children in all subjects.
Maintaining records on the improvement of individual children at the different tests and provide periodical reports to the immediate supervisor.
Organizing and taking part in outings and other recreational activities inside and outside the classroom; encourage the children to take part in such activities.
Liaising with the Home Manager and school teachers when necessary.
Recommending home manager if a child needs special psycho-social support
Participating and conducting regular meeting with the Home Manager and concerned employees about the children’s behavior and progress.
+2 in Science / Management or any descipline with 2 years of experience in relevant field (Bachelor degree preferred).
Good communication skill (both written and spoken) in English & Nepali.
Knowledge in computer (word, excel, power point).
Ability to implement plans
Ability to adapt in changing and challenging environment with flexiblity, honesty and patience.
Working Days / Hours
The post holder is required to work for 36 hours per week (6 hours per day starting from 1000 hrs. to 1600 hrs.) on a regular basis. The nature of the work may require flexible time and effort, and s/he need to do the same. The time table is subject to alteration if deemed necessary.

Probation Period: 3 Months
