Purpose: The Health Worker, under the direct supervision of Home Manager, overseas and takes care of all the issues related with Health Care of the children in transit home in accordance with prevailing health related laws and regulations.
Take time to listen to the children and find out if psychological issues of the children are related with their health issues.
Monitor and diagnose all health related issue of the children on weekly basis (General Check Up, i.e. but not limited to, height, weight, eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, skin, swellings and general physical condition)
Follow up and take appropriate steps to sort out health related problem of the children (general and emergencies).
Recommend the Home Manager on any action to be taken related to a child’s health issue.
Give oral feedback to the Home Manager after each visit
Certify the condition of any child leaving the transit home.
Provide clear and thorough reports on each single case, including observations and recommendations.
PCL Nursing with minimum three years of experience in a reputed hospital (B.Sc. Nursing Preferred)
License from authorized council or Board.
Effective written and oral communication skills with clarity and efficiency.
Flexibility and ability to work independently in adverse circumstances.
Ability and willingness to work among the children.
Ability to adapt in changing and challenging environment with flexibility, honesty and patience
Working Days / Hours
This position is a part time position and the post holder is required to work for 4 hours per week on a regular basis. The nature of the work may require additional time and effort, and s/he may be requested for the same.
